Buttercream has become increasingly popular in wedding cakes. Brides today are opting for wedding cakes topped with flowers or other objects that represent the themes of the wedding instead of using traditional cake toppers of the bride and groom.
Wedding cake flavors like gingerbread, lemon, coffee and nutty flavors are becoming a popular wedding cake trend, though chocolate is still a favorite for many.
